Lola Bunny has been my loyal companion for all 15 years of her life, and now I'm facing the hardest decision a pet owner can make. Over the past four months, I've watched her steadily decline, but this morning she could barely move around the house without yelping in pain. She can no longer go outside to go potty, and even shifting her onto a puppy pad causes her to cry out.

The vet has been clear that at her age, there's no cure for what she's going through. They've recommended euthanization as soon as possible rather than letting her suffer any longer. The cost is $725, and with my fiancé currently out of work and every dollar going toward rent and utilities to keep our home, we're desperately trying to save but falling short.

Lola earned her name as a puppy when she'd hop around the yard like a bunny. She's always been the perfect girl—never needed a leash, learned every command instantly. After 15 years together, she deserves a peaceful, dignified goodbye without more pain. I'm heartbroken that I can't give her that right now without help.
