When we noticed tumors on our sweet Alvin's back in May, we hoped for the best. But they grew so rapidly that by the time we got into surgery, our vet couldn't remove the largest one completely. We originally thought it was Mast Cell tumors, but earlier this week we received devastating news: Alvin has Cutaneous Histocytic Sarcoma, a very fast-growing malignant cancer.

For eight years, Alvin has been our loyal companion. He loves everyone but is fiercely protective of his family. Whether we're watching fireworks on the 4th of July or just running around the yard, he wants to be right there with us. His playful energy and unique markings stole our hearts from day one.

We now have an urgent appointment with a Veterinary Surgical Specialist on July 28th, followed by KState Oncology on August 12th. The specialist at KState urged us to get the earlier surgery appointment because time is critical. Without treatment, we only have a few months with Alvin. With surgery now, we could have a year or more.

We need $4,500 for the July 28th appointment. Any help means more precious time with our boy.
