Two months ago, my husband surprised our three little girls with Kano, a loving puppy we took in from a friend who could no longer care for him. Kano quickly became part of our family, and he absolutely loves our long walks and runs through the woods together.

However, I've been noticing worms in his stool, and he's even vomited worms, which is heartbreaking to watch. My girls are starting to become afraid of him as his condition worsens, and I can see he's getting sicker each day. Kano desperately needs deworming medication and a full veterinary examination to determine the extent of his parasitic infection. He also needs his vaccinations, neutering, grooming, and nail trimming.

With Christmas just behind us and three little ones to care for, our budget is extremely tight, but I can't bear watching Kano suffer any longer. We haven't been able to afford a vet visit yet, but every day we wait, he gets worse. The estimated cost for his complete care is $500, and any help would mean the world to our family. Kano deserves to feel better and be the healthy, playful companion our girls fell in love with.
