My beautiful Maya, my loyal companion of 11 years, has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma. What started as a simple limp in September quickly revealed itself as a symptom of this aggressive bone cancer. Maya is not just fighting for her life—she's heartbroken after losing her brother Gabbar, our 11-year-old golden retriever, just weeks ago on September 20th.

Even while battling cancer and unable to get up quickly due to pain, Maya continues trying to protect our home. Her calming presence and unwavering loyalty make her irreplaceable. She still sits observing me work in the kitchen, just like always.

Maya's treatment plan requires $18,000 and includes CT scans, biopsy, zoledrinate infusions, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and the Yale vaccine protocol. As the sole provider managing my father's health needs, my own wellbeing, and now Maya's cancer diagnosis, these costs are overwhelming.

After losing one dog traumatically and facing Maya's diagnosis simultaneously, I'm determined to give her every fighting chance. Maya deserves this opportunity to beat cancer and continue being the protective, loving companion she's always been.
