Hi friends, my name is Diesel (yes, like the Duramax!)

I’m a big guy with an XL body full of love, slobbery kisses, and endless tail wags to give. Life hasn’t always been kind to me, but I’ve never let it dull my happy heart.

My story starts when my mom adopted me as a pup from a local shelter. A few years later, I was attacked by other dogs three different times. I had to go through surgeries, but I never let those scary experiences change me. I kept loving people, snacks, and naps just the same.

About a year ago, I started having nosebleeds. After lots of vet visits, my family was told it was just allergies or sinus issues. But last month, my nose started bleeding uncontrollably, and I didn’t feel like myself anymore. I didn’t want to play with my siblings or cuddle with my pawrents. A different vet finally gave us the answer: I have a tumor.

Through it all, my family hasn’t given up on me. In fact, they hug me tighter now. My mom tells me all the time that I’m her “sobriety dog.” She’s been sober for six years (which is pawesome), and I’ve been her rock throughout her sobriety and that journey. She’s strong and stubborn and doesn’t like to ask for help… but this time, we need it.

My treatment is expensive, and any support means the world to us. Whether it’s a donation, a share on social media, or even just sending some love our way, it all makes a difference.
